The 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 mission is in 2019. To mark this special occasion, the U.S. Mint has released a lineup of Apollo 11 50th Anniversary commemorative coins. The specimen shown here is a half dollar with a clad composition. It has a dome shape and a brilliant uncirculated finish, this half dollar was struck at the Denver Mint. Mintage of these half dollars is limited.
Domed Lunar Design
This half dollar features the same designs that can be found on the other Apollo 11 50th anniversary commemoratives. The obverse shows a finely detailed footprint on the Moon. Phases of the Moon separate the names of historic NASA programs near the top of the design.
The design on the reverse is based on a photo that was taken during the mission, the photo is known as "Buzz Aldrin on the Moon."
MS70 Early Releases with a Moon Core Holder
This commemorative half dollar has been certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) and now it's housed in a Moon Core holder. Since it was found to be completely flawless, it was given the grade of Mint State 70 (MS70). The Early Releases (ER) designation indicates it was submitted during its first 30 days of availability.

If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion. All returns with a purchase price over 0 must include a Return Authorization Number.
