  • Condition: Complete issue of 16 pages. Paper was made with rag content at the time so the paper quality is very good and sturdy. The issue was previously bound protecting the pages within for over 150 years. There is light foxing (see photos). There are two tears which have each been taped carefully in the middles of the first and second pages. I have included photos. The tears do not affect the centerfold or the Homer illustration. The centerfold has some tears and some staining along the center seam otherwise it is clean and sharp. The Homer illustration is in excellent condition. Issue is stored in a clear, plastic, acid-free sleeve with one end open.
  • U.S. Grant: Winslow Homer
  • Civil War: The Battle of Raymond
