    Description

    This is an original menu from the U. S. House of Representataives on Wednesday, January 25, 1956.  It features a 90 cent Luncheon of Sliced Chicken Creole, with steamed rice, fresh green peas, fried eggplant and a choice of Pie or Layer Cake; tea or coffee.  Yum!  On the back is the recipe for Bean Soup served at the House of Representatives since 1904.  It is 9 & 3/4" by 6 & 3/8" and in nice condition.
